Judith Ellers is a multi-disciplined artist  with studios in Washington and Otsego counties, New York. She has returned to her roots to continue her artistic career after twenty years teaching at Rochester Institute of Technology and the University of South Carolina. The call of the region is strong and serves her well. The natural beauty and sense of history fuels her creativity through her photography, painting, her book making and graphic design work. Judy exhibits her work year round at Whipple City Studio, 9 Hill Street, Greenwich, NY. 

She is a BFA and MFA graduate in Painting with a minor in Printmaking from Rochester Institute of Technology. She is currently an active member of the Cooperstown Art Association, Cooperstown, NY; North Country Arts, Glens Falls, NY; East Bank Arts Alliance, Troy, NY; Saratoga Arts, Saratoga Springs, NY; Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council, Glens Falls, NY; and Southern Vermont Arts Center, Manchester, VT.
